California Spaghetti Salad





*INGREDIENTS


°375g Catelli Bistro Tricolor Rotini bag

°8 oz (250 g) shredded surimi crab

°1 cup (250 mL) chopped cucumber

°2 green onions, sliced

°1/4 cup (60 mL) canola oil

°2 Tbsp soy sauce

°2 Tbsp rice vinegar

°1 C (15 mL) chop pickled ginger

°1/2 tsp (10 mL) toast sesame seeds

°1 C. (5 ml) sesame oil

°ripe avocado

°1 nori leaf, toasted and coarsely chopped


*INSTRUCTIONS


Step 1

Cooking pasta accorde to pack instructions. Drain also rinse in cold water; set apart in large bowl. Adding surimi, cucumber and green onion; stirring into pasta.


2nd stage

Whisk together canola oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, sesame seeds and sesame oil. Gently pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss to coat.


Step 3

Place on a large serving plate. Garnished with avocado also grilled nori before serve.
